SHAIKH ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE
Your visit to the Grand Mosque is a chance to experience one of the world's largest and most beautiful mosques, named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's founder. Constructed from white marble, sourced from various places all over the world, the Mosque consists of 82 domes, over a thousand columns, gold plated crystal Swarovski chandeliers, and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet. THE LOUVRE MUSEUM ABU DHABI
Your next destination is the Louvre Abu Dhabi, a modern architectural masterpiece, situated on Saadiyat Island. As you approach the entrance, you will immediately notice its most striking feature - the huge silver dome that appears to float above the Museum and creates a mesmerizing effect known as the “rain of light”. The Museum displays an extensive collection of approximately 600 art pieces, from both East and West. You'll have the opportunity to explore masterpieces by renowned artists such as Picasso, David, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Monet, and others. Highlights include Leonardo da Vinci’s "A Portrait of the woman”, Vincent van Gogh's "Self-Portrait" and "The Saint-Lazare Station” by Claude Monet. You will have two hours to explore the Museum, after which you will be picked up for a pleasant 1.5-hour drive back to your hotel in Dubai.

The giant silver dome, which is the centerpiece of the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi weighs almost as much as the Eiffel Tower, but appears to be floating atop the Museum. This illusion is achieved through strategically placed hidden pillars within the Museum.
Swarovski chandeliers
There are seven crystal chandeliers in the Grand Mosque, all decorated with 24-carat gold plates and approximately 40 million Swarovski crystal balls. These chandeliers are designed to resemble upturned palm trees, which symbolize prosperity in the UAE.
Page of the Blue Quran
The Louvre Abu Dhabi displays parts of the ancient Blue Quran manuscript from the 9th century, which has blue pages and gold writing. The Museum regularly changes the pages on display to protect them.
